Thanks, I have spent 2 more hours working, greasing and checking out the left front door. The noise is coming either from the inside roller or the second detent on the rod. The rod physically jumps, and you can feel it, when it has gone over the first detent and is starting into the second slot. That reverses when it is closing. There are two rollers, one on the outside and one on the inside and both, as well as the rod, are properly greased. I am sure there is a way around installing a new rod, and or rollers. I just have not figured out what to do yet. This same noise happened on another 328, but spray lube helped that one. Too bad it will not do the same for this one.
Any Sugestions ?
