Default After almost choking, then dig

After almost choking, then digesting a big wad of gum when told what a new set of pipes were going to run me for my 400i here in Hawaii, I called a friend at a custom shop whom I trust with welding stainless fabricated a set after cutting the old Ansas' open and looking at an interior of a Tubi resonator on my Testarossa with a plumbing cam. We then came up with our own design that was inspired by but not a copy of the aforementioned brands and we took to making it happen. I had a good recording of old 12cyl racing Ferrari cars from the Monterey historics and with a little work, Viola! a system that looks stock, is 2 1/2" to 3" pipe that gives it that come hither Ferrari growl and has a built in electronic butterfly diverter valve controlled from the shifter that "uncaps" the headers when needed. The patent will be forthcoming. Time and materials, installation- $1,200.00 (He asked for $500 for his labor.)
