Coach I.M.I. - on both my TR and Boxer I have used a product available from the Whitney Catalog. It has a silver side and a foam side, and is insulation for this purpose. You can by it in larger pieces and cut to size. Use spray adhesive to hold to the deck lid. There are several thicknesses. The thicker option is a little too heavy. Try the thinner (1/2 inch, I think). You can order it on-line. Search for insulation at www.jcwhitney.com
