Ferrari will debut an open top version of its flagship 599 GTB Fiorano model at the Pebble Beach Concours this August says company CEO.
Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo made the comments last night in London, stating that the new model would have a, "very romantic name." In other words, it won't be called the 599 Convertible or Spider, but rather something more along the lines of the 575 Superamerica.
That model featured a hard top that popped out from behind the passenger compartment. It also got a horsepower boost to ensure performance was no less than the coupe model. That being said, an open top 599 could boast as much as 640-hp.
