Here is my situation: I was just given a job promotion in the last couple days that requires me to move overseas in short order. I am selling 3 cars and my house as fast as I can but if I have to store it until winter is over, I can do that, although I'd prefer to move it now and be done with it. I have a lien on it, but if it matters and I get a serious buyer, I could pay it off and sell it clean if need be.
The car's history: Has been covered or garaged its whole life. The car was purchased in Germany and imported to the US via Baltimore, so it has original Eurospec seats, it also has a Challenge Grill. I bought this car form the original owner in October of this year and drove it a few hundred miles before this job opportunity came along. The car is in excellent shape and has had only one owner until I bought it a couple months ago. It just passed VA OBD2 emissions a month ago and I have brand new cats to go along with it from when it was imported, which were about $8 grand. They are off the car right now and were used just to pass. Title is clean, with a US VIN and OBD2 plug and is fully US spec, no hassles, those were covered by the original owner and me. I also have a nice car cover for it.
Recent and current work: I've just repainted the chin spoiler for some rock marks, and have it in the shop getting all 4 rims refinished right now from some road wear. The previous owner changed the tires, had alignment done, and put in a new clutch and brakes when he sold it to me in October. New tires, brakes & clutch. No service needed until the next major in 15,000 miles outside of the small stuff, like oil, maybe plugs and filters as you go and things like that. The clutch was the big one that we just did.
Previous work: Previous owner refinished the lining in the car with a Suede like liner and he put in an aftermarket stereo and a mini sub between the seats. I had the windows tinted, changed the center caps on the rims, put a Titanium Burlwood dash kit in, which I can have removed if so desired, and have replaced the steering wheel with a brand new OEM one due to wear and tear. Other than that the car is in very good sorts, and has no accident history. The only other history associated with the car is that the driver's side window has been replaced.
The car has just over 15,000 miles and has never seen a track, which I had planned to change, but now it looks like that will not happen.
In the interet of full disclosure, the previous owner dropped his price to $69k and I talked him down to $67,500 when I bought it in October. I'm looking to get that back as I've put a little money into it since then and it's seen almost no miles. The car is located in Fairfax, Virginia. That's all I can think of now, feel free to ask any questions. The previous owner and I have become friends since the sale and I'm sure he'd be willing to answer questions that I cannot.
