Default TURBO KIT on a Ferrari 360 ? any opinion guys?

Hi guys,

i've seen some turbokits for Ferrari 360 in Ebay. just type "ferrari 360 turbo" and there'll be a few listings there.

I wonder if any of you guys out there turbocharge your ride? i've consulted some specialist and these guys still advise me not to go for it. any suggestions from you guys?

I'm thinking they're advising you not to buy a "kit" on ebay as opposed to not turboing at all...these "kits" have absolutely nothing to do with a Ferrari...other than a ploy to sell them. Ferrari engine respond beautifully to turbocharging and when done correctly are safe and reliable...and real expensive. At a previous shop we twin turbo'd a 1993 348which made 4561whp @ 1bar of boost on 91 octane pump gas...car ran phenominal. I've seen 360's that were turbocharged quite successfully...just not with a kit from ebay!

yea, i felt abit dogdy on how the seller responded on the advise i requested. Fxxxx!!!
any ideas on any force induction kit for a 360 ?

To my knowledge the only "kit" available for a 360 is the Novitec Rosso Supercharger kit, which is definately a quality design. All of the turbo systems I've seen on these cars have been designed and built on an individual basis. I appologize for the typo...our 348 made 461whp...NOT 4561whp.

The ebay stuff is junk and made in China. I wouldn't even put it on a Honda, forget about putting it on your 360.

I agree... Don't even bother. If you want a kit to be built go to a reputable company familiar with building turbo kits.

Successfully putting FI on a 360 (or any N/A) requires more than just bolting on a few parts and 'away you go'.

For instance, Veloce Performance (ECU tuning company), is working with Studio 47 (Ferrari specialist) on turbo systems for the 360/430/458. Once the hardware is engineered, the software has to be designed and tested to get the most out of the installation and maximize performance/reliability, etc.
