Here are some Ferraris.

250s. Definitely some of the finest cars in the world. The 275LM is probably my favorite Ferrari, but can't make up my mind...The one on the picture is a 250LM, not a 275.

Spoke to the owner a bit. Very gracious gentleman.

This car makes some of the most beautiful noise EVER. I love hearing these cars. They all have their own sort of sound. The 427 Cobras and GT40s have a throatier sound, these 12 cylinder beasts have a raucous bark that beats with more urgency. Too bad there is no "soundtrack" to go along with these pictures. You would all fall in love. I've heard the LMs, GTOs, and other exotica plenty of times before but every time is like listening for the first time all over again. Gives one goosebumps.

Default Another set. Met with this

Another set.

Met with this gentleman and followed him down to the Historics. He was headed over to Pebble and I went to Laguna Seca so we parted ways soon after these shots were taken.

What a GLORIOUS sound! 275GTB. Judging by the chrome trunk hinges this is a 4cam car (?). Absolutely fantastic. It really is a great experience to see one of these things "in the wild". Makes everything else on the road look like a gimmicky piece of overdone plastic. Unless of course it runs into some of its contemporaries...

The other car is a random 250GT found on the paddocks.

The one on the picture is a 250LM, not a 275.<!-/quote-!>

Taek, they're the same thing. The car was officially called the 250 Le Mans Berlinetta even though they all has 275 (3.3 liter) engines.

Judging by the chrome trunk hinges this is a 4cam car (?).<!-/quote-!>

The exterior trunk hinges and large rear window only mean that it's a long-nose car so, from this angle, it could be either a 4-cam or a long nose 2-cam.

Thanks for sharing the pics!

Thanks for the corrections Wayne!

I was under the wrong impression that the racing ones were "riced out" 250s and the street ones were 275s. Sorry.

Default Wayne, Take a look at the 3

Wayne,

Take a look at the 330 LMB I posted here.

http://www.ferrari-talk.com/discus/m...tml?1061322985

Got a question for you.

The thingy in the rear window looks like a gas cap and pipe leading to the tank. Nevertheless, the car also has the normal metal gas opening at the rear. Its kind of visible in the picture. Is this the way it came from the factory?

It has 2 tanks? It has two openings? What gives? I thought they were only allowed to pour gas from one source. I doubt it's a second "venting" type hole to help gas pour faster.

Default I'm not sure of the answer

I'm not sure of the answer on that one. I can only guess that one of the fuel fillers was added later to facillitate easier fueling. I have a question for you, though. Which LMB is this? The front end doesn't resemble any I've seen.

Don't know I'll ask and find out. The clipboard thingy said it was a 330 LMB. I don't even come close to knowing what you do so I'm just regurgitating information.

Default The cap/line through the quart

The cap/line through the quarter window on a 330 LMB is an oil filler.
