Hello my Ferrari Talk friends! I wanted to touch base with you and say hello. I just started a small online company named:
ProvaPlates.com and we produce and sell accurate and authentic Italian style Prova Test Plates. Exactly like the ones Ferrari used in the 70s and 80s, but these are made to fit US spec cars. These are made of recycled aluminum cans and are mainly used for car shows and concours, where they are affixed in place of your actual number plate. By doing this, no one can photograph your number plate, protecting you from identity theft and they look amazing.
I created these because a close friend who owns a handful of Ferraris and Lambos, took his blue Diablo to a concours, had the car photographed and someone put the images online. Problem was, someone posted pics of his car online, someone else found the pics, somehow ran his license plate ID and got most of his personal info, driving records, info on all his Ferraris and worst of all, one of his credit cards.
