Does anybody know anyone in the San Diego area who has a 308 with Webbers and a Tubi exhaust?

I would like to ask to drop by and listen to the sound of it.

I have a 79 308 gt4 with a very nice one off custom exhaust that make the car run fantastic and with a huge gain on hp.
The sound of it is very nice but a bit loud.

Thank you all.

Ricardo

I have a 308 with Tubi and Weber carbs,
but I no longer live in San Diego.

You might search the internet, as there have been many sound clips of a 308 with Tubi posted.

By the way, how do you know that this muffler has given your car a huge gain in horsepower?
Did you run the car on a Dyno before and after the installation?

How much is a huge HP gain?

Default Most high performance mufflers

Most high performance mufflers are worth around 15HP.

Default "Most high performance muf

"Most high performance mufflers are worth around 15HP"

While the performance results of flow through mufflers hover from nil to 10 or so hp, a good rule for performance mufflers is you should primarily choose based on the sound, as that is what you will be experiencing most of the time. I had a tubi that did help the car rev a bit easier and looked fantastic, but was just too loud for a daily driver and trip car. I remember I would happily give up a few hp if it were just more tolerable with a nice purr.
