Has anyone taken a 348 to its maximum top speed? On two instances I have seen 155 and still had more to go, but there isn't anywhere to really test it.(well, in new orleans at least) My local mechanic says its more like 185. I'm completely stock with the exception of the test pipes. I don't really plan on finding out myself, I drive hard but not abusive. Anyone who knows, or who just wants to share the stories with their cars will be greatly appreciated.

The top speed of the F348 is in the 165 range. The top speed of the (essentially identical aerodynamically-wise) F355 with 80 more HP is in the 183 range.

Default The factory says it's 171m

The factory says it's 171mph. I have see 140 on mine, and I had more to go, but I ran out of road. That and the roads in the states just are not designed for top speed. It really isn't safe to drive fast here, the roads just don't allow for it.

There are a couple of 348 owners in Europe that see 170 regularly.
