612 and 599any maintenance headaches

Does anyone know if the 612 is a maintenance nightmare (esp in engine-related work)?

I've heard that from one knowledgeable source.

And since I'm planning to put a deposit on a 599, I'm wondering what I might be getting myself into.
Has anyone heard if it's a 2,3,4,5 year wait for delivery of a 599? I'm so mad that I have to drive a miserable 550, that can ONLY do 191mph at 6500rpm...uphill at 7,000 feet, until I get a real car! Life is so unfair!
