Anyone going to the Monterey Historics weekend

Making plans to go to Concorso Italiano on Friday, Monterey Historic Races on Saturday, and Pebble Beach Concours on Sunday.

Anyone else going to any or all of these events?

I sure wish I could make it this year. I love Monterey.

Problem is the summer is the busiest emergency service season with cooling & AC problems at their peak.

So far I'm meeting up with a guy who is showing his fantastic GT40 and some other Ferrari owners (355, 360). Probably see a Miura owner over there too.

Should make for a fun time.

I will be leaving the San Jose area at 0530 this Friday to drive down to Monterey. I will be driving a "for sale" 308GTS qv and may have an extra seat available. Cell 408-410-7780.

I'm flying in from Vegas Thursday night but have to pick up my dogs from their pet hotels in the morning. Will probably head down around 9 or 10. I think I'm asking to get gridlocked in traffic by heading down this late but I can't really help it.

It turns out that I was so busy all weekend I wasn't able to hook up with a lot of my on-line friends. Sorry guys! The wife and I had a wonderful time nonetheless. Maybe we can plan an organized get-together next year?
