The contacts really don't go bad. I've almost never had to replace a cap for anything other than a crack.
If you have ignition system problems the cap and rotor are not very likely suspects most of the time. And believe it or not, caps have not kept up with inflation...they were at least $250 25 years ago. { } |

Okay great.
Mine is running good for now but I thought if I had to spring 500.00 for rotors I might as well pull the good stuff off now and make the conversion for the same price. Save the original stuff for 'down the road'. There are others in need more than I. Thanks JR. |
