Default Greg, Many thanks. Interestin

Greg, Many thanks. Interesting that he puts the range at £30,000-35,000. I know for a fact that the last 3 nice ones all went for over £40,000

Default I suspect those figures relate

I suspect those figures relate to cars sold at auction. Don't know about the UK, but in Oz Ferrari sold at auction tend to be the poor ones. The good ones change hands privately. I paid the equivalent of about 45Kpounds for mine back in 2001.

Default Yes, they were all private sal

Yes, they were all private sales with the last one at £42,500. There was one in a December auction that did not sell in the £30k's but it was not a good car.

Default The Manheim Gold Book, a reaso

The Manheim Gold Book, a reasonably reliable price source for classic cars, is showing a carbed BB512 at the following prices:

Good $72K
Excellent $105K
Show $115K

This seems high to me. Surely, these have not risen to these prices or maybe I am missing something.

Default Drew, "sales" price

Drew,

"sales" prices have been climbing no doubt about it, but those numbers look pretty hard to achieve in the real world. But for insurance purposes of replacement value that would be a good source for anyone wanting to up their coverage.
