Car wholesaler

I talked to a gentleman today named Jim Lyons who runs a wholesale car business. He's the one that supply's dealers with there Inventory. He told me he rarely deals with the public but If I was willing to buy a car sight unseen he would give me dealers cost. He said he ships cars all over the country based on his reputation. Since I have been having a hard time buying on the retail level do you think this would be a way for me to go. As always your comments are welcome.

Are you referring to buying a car for yourself or to resale? I'm assuming it's for you...?

I would never never never buy a car sight unseen unless I had a trusted mechanic look at it (PPI)
