Oh, that last post will last a long time! JRV, I agree with you not to allow that, I wouldn't appreciate the same.

Default Hey Rob, Thanks..Really...

Hey Rob, Thanks..Really...

I'm not the least bit interested in the worthless irritant threads and especially not going to let my board be used to perpetuate flame wars or just general useless hostility and negativity and worhtless bandwith filling, and I know they must annoy you also...in fact I've appologized in the past for being part of irritating useless threads.

You have a GREAT BOARD and I hope my continued participation there doesn't offend or annoy you. If it does just let me know.

I know you may think this is about some form of compitition, but I assure you once again it's not. The real reason this was neccesary for me is I've been asked to write a new book on Ferraris & Lamborghinis and to avoid conflicts over the research neccesary it was mandatory that I form these boards.

I'm truly sorry that Discus Ware doesn't have multiple looks, I assure you, if they did the appearance would have been far different. But that said, every site has it's unique differences and usefullness in the overall community. I can't help but feel that Fchat will become even more popular as the internet community grows and diverifies. And I'll help you all I can to that end unless you say otherwise.

Regards, JRV

Actually, the fact that your boards go TOP to BOTTOM in order of posts make them look a whole lot better.

That top up thing drives me nuts. Everytime I leave Ferrari chat I find myself paging to the bottom of any other web site looking for the start point!

Default JRV, I'm over it already.

JRV, I'm over it already. I just do the best I can for FC and always will. Even if it only had 20 users, I would still keep it going.

I think I would respect your actions more if you had done something like a jrv.com or something like Tom Yang's site. Your niche and strength is your personal experience and name. I would use that as your foundation. Your experience helps your site and your site will help your business. I think that differation from FC would be more respectable. JRV.com... Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, and etc..

In the end though it's all your decision and I go about my day no matter what. You know I don't moderate my board much at all, but although I would leave it there, I wouldn't appreciate users promoting similar sites on FC. That's why you should remove that message above linking FC.

Rob,

I'm not taking down the FerrariChat link. I wish I had thought of putting it there myself.

The Book Publishers insisted the names contained Lamborghini & Ferrari, so most of the decision was beyond my control unless I wanted to nix the book deal.
