The ordering of the original post at the top of the page on each thread is MUCH, MUCH beter than having it at the bottom like on fchat. Makes more sense and you can see right off what the thread is about.

>>So hows this diff from ?<<

we don't have any Bikini Threads {}

Seriously ....every board is what the users make of it, and percieve it to be. No forum can be "the perfect forum" to everyone, in fact I've had some guys already that though me & this place sucked...so to prevent them from torturing themselves by visiting I banned them. {} I quess you could equate it to being "The Moron Police"...if the morons don't like it, instead of letting them torture themselves and all the others I give them medicine for their ills. Which has the added benifit of allowing the ones that do like this site a friendlier more static free environment. A Win/Win situation.

So you can see that one of the differences will be the elimination of those who can't play well with others. {} As time goes on it wouldn't surprise me to find people have differences of opinion & won't like everyone else here, normal, natural, expected....but there won't be any taking disagreements to the extreme. I guess freedom of speech will take a back seat to civility. And with so many other places to go on the internet where primal screaming is the norm, this shouldn't be a problem.

Regards, JRV

Good! I go to the Ferrari discussion sites to get info and thoughts related to the cars and especially for tech assistance. I get a little tired when threads go to extremes or when pinheads post threads just to piss people off or for worthless topics-"What do you think of Ferrari snobs?", etc.

The main difference is that one is an imitation of the other.

Default Anonymous, At least have so

Anonymous,

At least have some courage to put your real name and address your issues formally. This just reflects only the poor qualities of the other chat rooms and makes this one all the better.

I personally have learned more about cars in this site, it's sister site, and through the people I've met through this site than in any other Ferrari forum or chat room. Can't really beat the tech knowledge in this forum. I personally feel you can't beat the overall atmosphere here either.

The other places are definitely a lot of fun to just kick back, hang out, and shoot the sh!t.

Cheers

The format may be nearly the same but the atmosphere is different. That is not imitation because there is an effort to filter the detrimental factions found on other certain sites that take away from the quality of the discussions that may take place. I for one am guilty of taking cheap shots at another Fchatter and I got a cheap shot in return. The result was cheap! and it won't happen again. All it did was ruin a good informative thread.
Think about what I just said and decide soon if you would like to join us in mutual exchange of information and entertainment.

It's okay to use your real name, even if JR and you don't see eye to eye. He'll let you know if he wants you around I'm sure.

absolutely...

I did think long and hard about what you just said, and with some encouragement, in the form of a book deal, decided to take action on behalf of myself and others that wanted a place to participate, share, learn, test, help, with a minimun of cheap shotting.

Believe me I realize I'm as guilty of cheap shotting as the next guy, in fact I actually enjoy matching wits with internet nitwits {}, however I'm even more content & happy when I don't have to!

My early internet board days were an absolute Trial by Fire with some of the lowest punching scumbags I've ever had the discust to run across, and not on car boards.

But guess what anoymous, I found out I don't have to put up with crap from negative people. All I had to do was take responsibility for my own contentment and happiness and create a Cyber Safe Haven . And This Is It !!!! {}

And anyone that doesn't want to play by the rules will be escorted to the edge of the Cyber Space Property Line and tossed out on their ass.

And as far as ownership rights, I had 20 Independent Surveyors throughly and unequvicably decide that this Cyber Space Property was free and clear of all Liens & Deed Restrictions and ready to be settled.
