These shots were taken at Laguna Seca. I saw many vintage Ferrari's for the first time. I was told the yellow Ferrari is a 250LM and is worth between 7 and 8 million ! Yikes! Here is another view of it:

This is the engine bay of the red one. It was under a red tent, that is why everything looks redish:

Default Tony, I saw the yellow 250

Tony,

I saw the yellow 250 LM in the Monterey Historic races (pretty sure it was the same car) and had a chance to speak to it's owner. Don't recall his name but he was quite a gentleman. The car is fantastic. The 250 LM is on and off again, my favorite road car. Did you get a chance to hear it? That red 250 SWD is also pretty sweet!

Cheers

Taek-Ho,
The 250LM seemed like it was really trashed. I saw lots of small cracks everywhere. The interior was very bare.

Maybe it did nothing for me because it was the worlds most expensive anchor. It was holding down the tent:

Here is a car I thought was really sweet:

Even the No. 80 car was really nice. I thought it was a Chyrsler Crossfire when I first saw the back ;-)

Enjoy!

That yellow LM250 is one of two cars that a team used at Lemans. There was a great debate on which one ACTUALLY won the race! Because they shared and swapped components throughout their race career, it was difficult to sort out, until historians noted a detail between the two cars.
One has only a SINGLE wiper motor, the other one has TWO!
