F149-the 599 Hummer and Maserati GT

So, I understand that the new Ferrari front-engined V-8 GT car is code-named F149 and it will be unveiled in October at Geneva Auto Show.

This is a test of intelligence (for the men Oscar Wilde described as "knowing the price of everything but the value of nothing")

1. Do you buy a 600hp 599 GTB Hummer that can't be driven safely at 80% of its capabilities oin roads designed 40 years ago for 200-300hp cars...and pay something like $340,000 for it?

OR

2. Do you pay $240,000 or more for a V-8 version of the Ferrari Hummer with an F430 engine and get that questionable Pininfarina styling in a car that can be driven safely at 80 % of its (lesser) capabilities on the same roads?

OR

3. Do you pay a mere $117,000 for the GORGEOUS Maserati GT with the same F430 engine and use the savings for ...what ever!

I'd go with #3 and use the savings to buy a used F430 for sports driving!
