Exclamation Ferrari Buyers, Sports Car Buyers BEWARE OF THIS DEALER

Have you seen the pictures of new Gemballa GT and the Avalanche in the May issue of The Dupont Registry? Awesome cars! Stunning design an colors! Almost like sex on wheels ;-) GEMBALLA
Cars for Sale, Buy & Sell Exotic and Classic Cars – www.duPontREGISTRY.com

Although I can't believe that they have given exclusive rights to Dennis Kennedy and Exotic Motorcars (Exotic cars and luxury vehicles like Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes and Bentley - Exotic Motorcars) in Boynton Beach, Fl. That's a bit of a mismatch, kind of like having Nicole Kidman or Merril Streep represented by an agent that does sleazy porn.

:soapbox:
I recently bought a Ferrari from Exotic Motorcars and I experienced nothing but deception, incompetence and out right advertising fraud. I had to wait over two months to even get the car after they sold the GT3 RS I traded to a lead I provided before they even had the trade! The paperwork was wrong, with the wrong mileage and car designation and even after pointing it out multiple times, the final bill of sale was still incorrect (incompetence). The car that they delivered was a disaster, not even registerable in CA. Read on if you dare :crying:

When I finally received the car it came with no service records to back up the claims that it had been fully serviced at Shelton Ferrari when I had been told that they would be delivered with the car. They also claimed that the car had been inspected by Shelton before being put on sale and that Shelton Ferrari reported that it didn't need any service. I checked with Shelton and they had no record of this inspection.

The car delivered to me didn't have two of the main options that were part of my key criteria for purchasing the car when the advertisement and sales person said they did (advertising fraud & deception). To make matters even worse, one of the options, the Scuderia Shields weren't factory but some crappy after market knockoffs and even after I called them on it the salesman had the nerve to say they were factory (deception).

The final wammy was the car was not even legal to register in CA without work because the engine warning light is on. Also, the front tires were shot as well as the front brakes making the car not even saleable by a dealership in CA. The car only has 4700 miles on it. This car was represented as "meticulously maintained. You do the math.

I have purchase over 70 high line cars in my life and have never had this bad of experience. I usually do go and have the cars inspected, but because of the claim that Shelton did the inspection, I trusted... Lesson learned ;-)

My hope is that I can prevent other Ferrari Buyers, Porsche Buyers, Lamborghini Buyers, Bentley Buyers and other high line automotive enthusiasts from having this nightmare by telling this story and hoping that you steer clear of this dealership.

For those who are lucky enough to attain a Gemballa GT or Avalanche don't have the experience ruined by an outfit like Exotic Motorcars. And Gembala, if you're listening, watch out for your customer's experience. It is just as important as he product because first impressions last!

If you've had dealings with Exotic that left you less than satisfied, I'd like to hear them. And any help that the folks on this forum can provide in spreading the work, it would be most appreciated. As a community we have strenght because as consumers our money is our voice and Ferrari buyers have a LOUDER than average voice :-) Thank you for your support.

To read of the many others who have had as bad or WORSE experiences with Exotic Motorcars, visit FerrariChat... it's disturbing.
