Hello Alan,

The 79 I have has the cats and emissions equip. removed. It has a Tubi Euro exhaust.
This makes it a challenge for Cal. buyers, but
most states I believe it is exempt by age.

If you are thinking about the car at Schmitt I would be happy to go by and give it a visual inspection.

Default Alan, I see you're quit

Alan,

I see you're quite a bit interested in the fiberglass GTB. Yes, mechanically your 1977 is identical. You will appreciate the lighter body which I found to be noticeable in comparison to a steel GTS. The doors have a very light feel to them as well. The weight savings with the ANSA muffler is considerable. I never weighed the two, but I was able to pick up the ANSA with one hand. It felt like about 30-35 pounds. No way I could do that with the OEM muffler. I needed help moving it around. It was at least 130 pounds. Visually, when you look at the car from a certain angle, you see a little bit of waviness along the sides. Just enough to let one know that there's something different about the car.

Thanks Chuck!

I guess I'm out tire kicking because mine's going to be down for a while. I also think they are a good investment, as is the Boxer right now.

Barry that's a beautiful car!

Maybe I should just rechannel my frustration into block sanding! My car runs GREAT, after many niggling issues have been resolved by JRV.
ANSA is the way to go.

I've been thru the ringer to get my stock wheels and bolts together, too. It'll be worth it when it all gets on the car.

Thanks again ya'll!

Barry:

Your car looked great at the Garden State show. I hope to see you again this year. Will you be attending the Reading Ferrari Show on May 16th?

Hi Ken,

I'm not sure right now. It will either be Reading or Pocono later in the month.

Your GTS looked pretty sharp that day too:

Default Barry: Thanks for the kind

Barry:

Thanks for the kind words. While I really enjoy my GTS, the lines on your GTB look much better. If I could have found one, I would have purchased a 308QV GTB. They are almost impossible to find (at least one worth buying). I have spent a lot of time and money this year in improving my car. I have detailed the engine bay (not true concours, but very close) and have addressed several missing items. I hope to have the car to show condition (again) by Reading.

What show in Pocono are you referring to? I know there is the annual Italian car show at the end of June.
