Default Barry, Since my retirement,

Barry,

Since my retirement, I've semi-moved to Houston to pursue my hobbies. JR is the best that I've found by far so I hang out an awful lot at his shop.

Alan,

Seeing as to how it's track modded the car is probably a US Spec that was modded with the dry sump. Appreciate you keeping an eye out on it though. I'm fighting a different battle altogether right now though. I have to convince my wife it's time for me to buy a motorbike again.

Cheers

Default My family put it pretty plainl

My family put it pretty plainly after my last serious ER trip, off a bike.

"Get a safer hobby, or there's no point in your name being in our Will"

My mom still reminds me! I took up parasailing!
(And Ferraris ;) )

Yes, Dr. Barry! The Houston Fcar scene is pretty small, once you leave the dealership. They have good guys, but not many older than my carbs! JRV is! Sorry JRV, didn't mean that like it sounded! LOL!

Default Over 400 micro stitches in my

Over 400 micro stitches in my face that afternoon, after they got all the windshiled glass fragments, and a broken jaw for good measure. Still a handsome guy, some say!

Not enough, but some! LOL!

Default The FoH parts department is go

The FoH parts department is good, though.
They tracked down new door handle oval inserts for my 308GTB, after a body shop argued they did not have them, when the car came in.

They were only $32.00US, each!

They are about this { } big!
But, I got 'em!

Default Alan, Do you mean those lit

Alan,

Do you mean those little black rubber bumpers that fit into the handle and rest against the window frame?

Default No, these were the oval gromme

No, these were the oval grommets that go into the door sheet metal, to keep the handle shank from rattling in the door!
