Looking for mechanic willing to learn the ways of Profesionals in the Big Leagues.

Must have desire to learn, good attitude (NO the man be on my back losers)and must have long term thinking and goals and understand the meaning of the word "quality work". Must understand that working on Ferrars/Lamborghinis is a priveledge!!

Rob, I'm very tolerant of the learning curve involved around these cars and the exacting standards neccesary, I'm not the slightest bit tolerant of someone disrespecting The Cars, The Customers, Me, or The Priviledge involved in this level of the business.

obviously the X wannabe Exotic Car mechanic failed the test of understanding this level of the game. One has to perform well even when others are not watching from the heart not simply for the money. It takes awhile sometimesbut motives do surface. Simply being in this for the money grab is not acceptable in my establishment.

Damn, if I only lived in Houston..

about the only qualifications I have are 20-years of helping my dad work on all our cars, putting a 351-windsor into an '79 Mustang that previously had an inline 6, and I raced and maintained a FF2000 car for 5-years (and still help my buddy with his) including engine rebuild work and just about everything else short of welding.

My brother-in-law is trying to get me to move back to Houston to help him manage some real estate job he's got brewing, but it may not be for a few months.

If you're still looking I may come bye. Problem is I like where I live. Yeah, Kansas is flat, but the weather is great (IE "Ferrari Driving") 8-months a year, and all my friends are here, and it's not so 'effing crowded like Houston. Rush hour here is like Saturday traffic on 610.

I have never considered changing car makes because I have been with Toyota so long. I felt that if I left it would be to something totally different.

That said, I am not beyond considering this opportunnity.

Different isn't such a bad thing...{}..

We each just have to decide for ourselves what we want to be when we grow up (or how we want to avoid growing up {}).

Me...I get to avoid growing up by playing with toys...sure it's hard sometimes..life has compromises..oh well...{}
