Default & all good things come to

& all good things come to an end.

The experiment of allowing unregistered guests has the unfortunate side effect of allowing unregistered intruders access to dirty up the board with their trash. Likely the same ones that Litter our highways and choke our byways.

I must say that out of the many, many visitors and posters the litterbugs are relitively few, but sadly persistent.

So it appears it's time to require being registered to post. {}

Anyone that has registration problems em me @ jvallan069@aol.com

Default I don't think it was a goo

I don't think it was a good thing to have people post without registering. At the very least it's a common courtesy thing, almost like introducting yourself to the community without really having to.

Given the amount of info that can be learned here, a small form to fill out is a very low admission fee, if you will. Also makes things more personal. Its an online community so you'll always have people hiding behind their computers, but when its all said and done valued contributors and people who use the site for what it is intended will all benefit.

By the way, saw the advert in Forza! Cool.

Cheers

Thanks..Taek. Basic but informative (I hope)

Well it looks like the Litterbugs will get a Free Pass awhile longer, at leeast until the Running of the Bulls is over. It would be to much inconvience for people trying to access the registration form to register. And simply flood my em box with problem reports.

Guess I'll just stick with banning certian IP's for now. Maybe the Litterbugs are just "slow on the uptake" if you know what I mean, and simply banning them will help them "get it".

Default anomymous, besides spamming

anomymous,

besides spamming the board with trash, do you have any other reasons to believe pw protection is a good idea? denial of service attacks? possible site hacking? etc. ?
