As many of you know, back in December I was invited to attend the Red Driving Experience operated by JMB Racing USA. After that unbelievable opportunity I wrote an article about the "Experience" that was later published in the Ferrari Owners Club magazine (Pilota) and later in Executive Flyer Magazine, and maybe more to follow. The interest that the Red Driving Experience has received since the printing of that article has opened another door of opportunity.
On April 26th I will load up with the second largest Ferrari racing team in the world, second only to the factory F1 team, and travel with them to Laguna Seca for the fourth round of the 2005 Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series where I will be an actual crew member for the race weekend.
We have all wondered what the life of a race car driver, or crew member, is like. But most of us have never had the chance to go behind the closed doors, into the pits, and actually live the life that these guys do. For ten days I will be living this life, eating, breathing, sleeping, and working as though I were one of their own…. a real Ferrari crew member.
Stay tuned for more details and updates...
