OT Anyone have experience with Lotus Esprits

Anyone have any knowlage of the late model Esprit's?

one of my best mates has a 1998 esprit vb twin turbo, its a seriously fast and capable car, soo much better than the earlier models, he has owned it for four years, no problems aside from the alarm system

Had a 93 from new for 6 years (in those days faster than almost anything with 8 or 12 cyls)only had three problems;
1. Air was terrible
2. couldn't see out back clear enough to change lanes in heavy traffic
3. The value of the car dropped faster then the price of maintance due to the fact that it has absolutly no club support. This will change with the release of the Elice.

The Lotus is a fantastic car but like the 308 be prepared to pay more for repairs then the book on it. But like 308 owners if you love the car who cares.
