Post 1995 F355 - Hard time starting on first try.

I have a 1995 F355 and it rarely starts on the first crank, but starts immediately on the second crank. Any suggestions?

low Battery voltage? fuel pumps don't like low voltage, they will run, but full pressure is not produced. Also fuel filter? check for any DTC codes in ECM

Possibly fuel filter could be getting debris stuck in it while it pumps. I believe if your fuel pump was totally out, it would not even pump. Also check the fuel pump fuse, could be a corroded contact there.

You have to push the peddle all the way down initially when you start it and then after 15 20 seconds or when the engine starts lift foot off accelerator. the car should have started by now. Take tiem for the fuel to reach the carbs from what I have been told...
