Smile 1999 360 Modena Remote Control re-programming

I just purchased my first Ferrari, 1999 360 Modena. Have only one remote, black, but fortunately I DO have the card with the code number.
Somebody on Ebay is offering a red remote. How hard and or expensive is to reprogram it?
My car came from a Swiss dealer by the way, not through Ferrari of North America.
Thanks
Francesco

2 points:
- US cars and EU cars does not have the same radio frequency for the remotes. So a US remote will not work on a EU car and vice versa. Be carefull of the origin of the remote you buy.
- if the red remote is the same frequency, you can probably put the ECU in the learning mode with the PIN code and then learn your new red remote. BUT you probably wont be able to record again the black you have because it is not of the same set than the red, and if you have not the new PIN code associated with the new red you loose this ultimate back-up allowing to start the car. Final situation may be worse than the starting one.

Make a search with my pseudo on other famous Ferrari forums and you will see that cloning your remote is another option
