I was told that the 360 door locks may not work with the key if the battery dies. I have not had this problem, but told that I may want to keep the car window open in the garage in case the battery dies. Can anyone confirm if the door locks are completely mechanical with the key, or does the key operate an electric solenoid?
Yes, manual operation with a key isn't a problem, don't yank the doors open or slam them shut though, as you could damage the window seals, the windows won't drop when you pull the door handle with a flat or disconnected battery.
