My new 2008 f1 always starts out in the automatic mode This is new software which was implimented on the 599 when it was introduced and has now moved to the 430. If someone knows of a way to change this most annoying addition please tell me. I have asked before and I am at my witts end with this problem. Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this.
Your dealer MAY be able to turn this off in the ECM, but you will have to ask them if they have the software tuning tools. Most settings in an ECM can be changed by a good tech. However, your warrantly might be effected by a non factory tune. Best to ask the questions at your dealer.
