JRV,

Now, there's a sight I haven't seen in a very long time. I rebuild the gearbox in my 246 "Type L". As odd as this may sound, it was my first major Ferrari repair! Even 20 years ago, part were a bit tough to find, as my gearbox used "odd sized" bearings....32mm shafts, or some non-standard size. The special tools I puchased from Ferrari to secure those sloted nuts I still have...and fit many of the those "Ferrari-special" nuts as used on the BB and other models.

The Dino...Ahh, what a truly great car!

Regards,
David
