Posting this because 308 - 328 Oil Cooler Lines are getting very pricey and hard to find.
All the the Ferrari oil cooler lines with removable ferrels are readily repairable with new AQ Hose and work exactly like new. The ends if the old hoses can be disassembled by unscrewing (not hoses with crimped ferrels) the ferrel from the end, AQ hose cut to proper lenght and re-assembled just like AQ fittings. Total time of repair approx. 2 hours, hose cost approx $20-$40. Removable Ferrels can be distinquished by the lack of crimp marks ie: they are smooth . |

I have frequently used aeroquip hose as replacement of oil lines in both Porsche and Ferrari cars, even with crimped fittings, you can carefully cut off the crimp outside, then slide off the old hose, replace with AQ and use a good fastener, not hose clamps. They are good for much higher pressure than seen in the oil systems.

I use the one or two eared clamps (oettinger ?). They have held up well, also use the same system with -6 or -8 hose to replace injection hose, we are talking less than 75 psi in the system, well under the hose limits. I may also use a sealant as an assembly lubricant, when it sets it helps the final seal.
