Default Can anyone confirm these Bosch

Can anyone confirm these Bosch part numbers?

WUR (warm up regulator)

84/85 308qv = 0 438 140 083
.............328 = 0 438 140 132

and if these numbers are correct,
any comment what effect a 328 regulator on a 308qv would have ?

"those #'s" show -132 as 328 wur ??????
maybe -083 was superceeded to -132?

Default Larry, the 132 was standard

Larry,

the 132 was standard issue on the 85 3.0 Mondials and the 86 3.2 328's...the systems are "almost" identical so the differences must be so slight that a 132 would work on earlier & later K-Jetronic equipped cars.

Default Yes Larry my 308 has a 132. I

Yes Larry my 308 has a 132. It doesn't look new so I can't comment on whether it was changed or not. My point is that QVs run just fine on 132s. If you have a 328 why would you want a 083? If you have a 308 then why wouldn't you use a 132? (more readily available) Many 308s have 132s on them now. I have seen 3 or 4 friends 308s with 132s.

My 308 also has the 132.
I am chasing a very minor miss and thought the 132 regulator didn't belong, but it looks like is was either standard or accepted update/replacement.
Thanks for input Richelson.
