Default Hi, A past owner had the ma

Hi,

A past owner had the master cylinder replaced on my 308. An OEM part was supposed to be used, but the cap/level indicator on my reservoir looks a little different from some pics I have seen.

My cap has the level indicator wires attached to it through the top. Whereas, it looks as though the original reservior had a cap, and next to it a separate atachment for the level indicators. The reservoir housing looks exactly the same from the original, except for this.

Does anyone know if this design supercedes the original design (i.e. updated version)? I am just curious....

Thank You,

Anthony

Default You might check on [url="http:

You might check on www.owners.ferrari.com and check the spare parts section...they have terrific drawings with all the part numbers listed, including superceded ones.

Default Thanks, Dave. Yes, the owners

Thanks, Dave. Yes, the owners site is great, but does not list the superceded number. I spoke with a few popular parts suppliers and found out that mine is in fact the latest design - I just wanted to make sure an unknown aftermarket part was not used on my car...

Thanks,

Anthony
