If for some reason the cable has been mis-adjusted or has stretched then occasionly it's neccesary to adjust cable lenght itself. Otherwise use the linkage adjuster bar.
Sounds like you're just about finished. That's great, any glitches let us know.
Finished!! Works very well. The clutch releases a little high- but I can adjust that later. I'ts nice to have her on the road again without the worrisome noise.

Here it is with the machined flywheel and new pilot bearing and all my paint marks including the one at the starter..
