308 door removal

Does anyone have the process to remove the doors on a 308. I will need to do this in a few months to have the rust bubbles repaired. So how do you remove the hinge pins or the hinges themself. Thanks

there are just a few 8mm bolts on the hinges at the A pillars (behind the Front Cover Plates) to remove the hinges. It' far easier to remove/replace the hinge pins with the doors off, and should be done before painting or bodywork.

you must first pull the door panel and remove all wire connections , because most of the harness stays with the body, and must be fed out the hole as the door is removed. Then the 2 hinges are loosened and the door removed.

Thanks JRV I was wondering if there were any hidden problems here. Looks straight forward but wanted to get a read from someone who has done this before. Do I assume that there will be shims under the hinges ? Thanks

there may or may not be shims? each one is different
