308 GTB Rear Sway Bar Bushings

Hi,

I would like to replace the rear sway bar bushings on my '77 308 GTB. I am not sure if I will go with Factory bushings or aftermarket (I read in past threads that ES makes replacements).

Is it necessary to unload both rear wheels by jacking, or can the bar merely be taken off?

Once the bar is off, I assume it is not just "press out, press in" - any other step/tricks to the process? What kind of lubrication should be used?

the bar is not spring loaded, it just unbolts and comes off. no special tricks I can think of.

Yes definately lube the new bushings. You can use silicone but I recc. powdered graphite.
