308 GTSi AIR
Finally graduated from the English cars to the Italian Prancing Horse. My first question is or was there ever a proper repair manual for the 1982 308 GTSi? Secondly, the car runs fine at speed but has a poor idle and no fast idle. I have used a Mondial manual to trace the idle circuit which includes the aux. air valve and start injector controlled by coolant temp and seems to be rather straight forward but before I go there I noticed that the AIR pump was taken off ( botched job since that is all that was done) but can one reach the AIR jets in the head ,for purposes of pluging, without pulling the motor?
Also one of the thermocouples for the lights was burnt off. I can't find one anywhere! The cats were also gutted and I have a noticeable differential in pressure between the opposite sides of the muffler. Is this an indicator?
