308 gtsi injector issues

I have a 1983 308gtsi (Euro version) with almost no throttle response (off idle throttle hesitation). I believe I have an injector problem where at low RPMs the injector is not injecting properly and are "loading up" (like the car is flooding)

Should I buy new injectors or get them ultrasonically cleaned?

Is it easy to remove these injectors?

Where can I buy injectors? So far I’ve seen them for $180each

Any recommendations / advice would be greatly appreciated

If you are somewhat mechanically inclined (assuming this is a Bosche K-Jetronic), you might dissassemble and clean the main fuel distribution assembly and inspect the flow metering linkage (air flapper system). These distribution units are fairly simple (CIS) but don't tolerate grime very well. After that, pull the injectors and test (circlip holds them in). CIS injectors are simple and fairly robust also but they can gum up occasionally. Check fuel pressures at different points in the ciruit also.
