Default OK I just had changed the oute

OK I just had changed the outer bellows on the steering rack and now need to get the toe adjusted. I tried to keep the adjustment the same but as you know that is somewhat difficult. So off next week to get the toe adjusted .
So the question for the folks who have had this done is what did you set this to. The WSM and OM says :
E = F - 0.04" (1 mm) Min and E = F - 0.12" (3mm)
When I talked to my front end guy he said that he likes to se this as close to "0" as possible. So what are you guys setting this to. Oh this is for normal street driving and I'll either have the stock 14" rims or will use the 16" Gotti's. Thanks in advance.

Default Steve, Although you could s

Steve,

Although you could set the toe to "O", you'd be trading quicker "turn-in" for high speed stability . However, if you set the toe-in at 1 mm per side (max), you really get the best of both worlds, simply stated. Too little toe-in (in the front) will make the car feel "darty" on the highway.

Regards,
David
