Went to start her up this morning for a little drive. She would not start. FP is running, and the plugs look fine. I replaced the rear 4 while I had them out. Will check for spark when I get back from dinner.
I had this same issue back in December. I thought it was the alarm or battery. New battery now and the alarm doesn't seem to be the problem as the starter engages. Any ideas? Am I on the right track? JL |

The cold start injector is working, have power to both coils but not at the plug. Checked the connections at the Digiplex computers (Both look good). Will be making second ground wires today per JR's reccommendation. Will get back at it tonight cleaning a few connections.
Thank you JR for the coaching. JL |

Hi Jeremy,
Don't know if this will help but if you'd like my 328 uses Microplex have ohmmeter values for each terminal on coil multi-pin connector (not sure what they mean, but measured while off & recorded - both were identical). Not sure if this would be applicable to your coils? Carl PS Drop me an email at carlrosemd@hotmail.com with (my sister's house) contact info - looking forward to meeting you also! |

Hi Patrick,
My alarm is an Avital Tornado. It was installed by the original owner way back in the early 90's. It is weird! I disarm it, the lights blink. I turn the key and the starter starts, fuel pump runs, everything is normal except for no spark at the plug. At this time I have not bypassed it. I un-hook the battery and the alarm unit resets. It acts like it gets caught in a particular mode and can't get out of it. I would really like to upgrade to a new alarm system. Good luck with yours. JL |
