Slow down light on my 84 308 used to come on intermittently when exhaust was hot, almost seemed appropriate.
The other day I had a few minutes, so I added a ground wire to the exhaust sensor/sender as I had read others had done (I also added a ground to the O2 sensor while I was there), just used small hose clamps to attach wires.
Light has not come on since.

Now I'm gonna try to fix the slight miss I have at low load, I'm going to readjust the wur...

Default The exhaust temp sensor/sender

The exhaust temp sensor/sender (and the O2 sensor) thread into the catalytic converter. If you remove the rear aluminum under plate (5 6mm bolts), they are easy to access.
