328 Dash/Console Lights Fuse Burning Out

Need some help.....My dash/console and side marker lights fuse has burned out several times. Each time it burned out sooner than the time before starting off at about a 1 hour interval, than 1/2 hour, than 15 minutes, etc. Now it pretty much burns out within 5 seconds each time. I read a post somewhere that someone else with a 328 was having the exact same problem but he never followed-up with a solution. I tested the relay which is working properly, now I guess I'll have to check each bulb until I find the short. Does anyone have any experience with this, and if so, is there one culprit that comes up since it appears that this is a problem that may be common. THX.

Freestyle, I had the same problem before and it turned out to be the wiring harness at the tail lights. Pull the carpet out inthe trunk, and take a hard look at the wire, same might be chaffed and touching the harness.

You are right on the money. The steel cable for my radio antenna was rubbing-up against the back of one of my side marker lights. Thanks for your input.
