Thanks David
BMW or Mercedes is correct I am sure also. This switch looks the same for all Ferraris with the steering wheel lock since the late 60s up to the 90s as well, they changed the shaft diameter and lengths of the lock assemblys but this 7 pin elec switch appears the same on all, I am sure our BBs have the same switch as well. The part houses I've gone to have the same typical puzzled look as when I bring other Ferrari parts into their stores, their is a Pic a part wrecking yard I am going to tomorrow as they have a few BMWs and Mercs I'll check them for a match on this switch for laughs if so I'll have a make and year to order a new one, $13 seems right for this part as it looks very cheap and prone to failure, too bad you need to ante up $800-$1500 for a complete unit from Ferrari. If it is the same switch as earlier Ferrari's (275,330gtc) Then the switch from a BMW 2002 is an exact replacement. They are fairly pricey from BMW, but I have bought them in the past for around $20 from an aftermarket supplier.
