Hello Everyone!
I just bought a 1992 348TS this past weekend. It has one profound defect...the pop-up headlights stay up..because the headlight lever is stripped as it enters the control column (the spines of the rod/lever are stripped) and it has no grip. I cannot activate the lights. I have checked to see that a new lever/rod costs about $1100. for the part...welcome to the wonderful world of Ferrari parts huh? Anyway...I ask...can I deactivate the lights via fuse and keep the lights recessed? If so....I am hoping to remove the fuse (one for each light) and hand turn the lights to recessed position....correct in this presumption? Can anyone direct me to which fuse(s) location (in the fuse panel) to pull? Appreciate your help with this quick remedy...until I fix the lever. Joe Cocoa Beach, FL |
