355 exhaust

Hi everyone:

I want to enhance the sound of my 355. I've been looking into Tubi, Capristo and Quick Silver. This last one has a Super Sport system, more or less equivalent to tubi, for about half the price. They also carry what they call the Cat replacement pipes.
I asked a friend at the Ferrari dealer and he told me that if the Cat replacement pipes are used with the original exhaust the car will sound almost the same at low RPM's and that at high revs it will sound like a Formula 1 car. Is this true? Would it be too loud?

What kind of sound do you want from your car? Loud is hard to quantify. What I've found most annoying in exhaust systems is not so much the loudness but the resonance inside the cabin. They are not always directly related.

From what I have heard Capristo makes some really cool systems. I haven't heard the 355 ones but the 360 ones sound awesome.

I like the soud of the Tubi but I don't want to pay almost $4k for a muffler. The sound I want is to be as close as stock at less than 4000 RPM and VERY loud above that, sort of how a 348 or 355 Challenge car sounds.
