Default I have a slight squealing nois

I have a slight squealing noise on my 95 355 which only happens when I turn the car left, it almost sounds as if it coming from the left (drivers) front wheel. When I apply the brakes when turning left it seems to quiet up so its possible its brake pad noise related, hard to tell.

Nothing grinding like a wheel bearing but an irritating continuous chirp noise thats consistent every time I turn left at all speeds, does not happen when turning right at all.

Car is a 6 speed with 18000 miles.

Thanks

Here's a pic of my car, wanted to try a different color than red this time, actually the color has some white pearl and gold pearl to it which gives blueish and other hues to it in the sun, found this out when I had it touched up last week.

Default While at parking lots speeds,

While at parking lots speeds, slowly pull up on your emergency brake while turning left.

If the sound disappears as you do this, then you may need new emergency brake shoes (no big deal).

Default Pull the tire and have a look

Pull the tire and have a look at the condition of the break pads.

The sqeeking you are hearing could be the wear indicators on the pad vibrating on the rotor. That's what the are for.

If you find that the pads are worn then you'll need to change both sides.
