The icons on my power window switches stay lit all the time-even with ignition off. this is causing the battery to lose .15 volts a day & draining battery when car sits for too long. I have had the car for 2 months. I spoke to previous owner & said he has always had starting problems (ferrari dealer just kept putting new battery in) but did not notice if window icons stayed on. Can other 355 owners please check if this happens on their cars. Any info on this is welcome. It does not seem right & ferrari dealer can only say for me to bring the car in for repairs.}

My battery drain was traced back to the stereo* and I had to put a relay on the amplifier feed wires switched with ignition, and I still have to pull the face-plate on the radio to keep the drain down at a low level.
[*] radio has only been turned on 4 times in 4 years. |

i have found that there is a separate door switch for the power window icons. the way it's supposed to work is that when the door is opened they light up. after the door is closed they shut off. there is a black box under dash by steering column (about 1x2x3 inches) that controls this operation & you can hear it click when it's working properly. the problem with mine is that it was stuck. it still does it at times & if i tap it with a screwdriver it shuts off (i will replace it in the future). the power window icons also come on when the key is turned on & stay on until key is turned off.
