Default While doing the design work on

While doing the design work on the 360 front skid plates I noticed that because the factory air intake screens had such huge holes that quite large rocks were in the tunnels. Rocks large enough to damage the oil cooler and AC condesor and that long term enough gravel could be ingested to clog the fins of both coolers. I'm thinking of Fabbing up some stainless screens with a much tighter mesh that clip on to prevent the ingestion of massive amounts of debris.

Default Correct. Recent FORZA article

Correct. Recent FORZA article showed these replaced with a finer mesh screen.

Those would barely strain out a low flying bird!

Default Alan, was the finer screen

Alan,

was the finer screen a factory part? I didn't have the pleasure of reading the Forza article.

No I think aftermarket. I'll drop it over.

It cited the heat sink problem 360s are experiencing, with the exhaust in proximity to the fuel tank.

They actually engineered a precooling system and gained some additional ponies.

You are not alone in noting some poor packaging problems with this series.

My subscription just arrived. Should hit the news racks next week.

Engineers design & build the mistakes, mechanics root them out & solve them...
