Default 400i automatic wont move?

400i starts up and revs with no problems, however it will not move any ideas on what this might be, its an automatic thought i might as well start here.....i heard it may be the transmission fluid level...is this possible and if so how could you tell?

I believe your trnsmission is a GM th400 , Might want to check the vacuum hose to the moduator ( small can on back of transmision, has a vacuum hose to it) Low fluid will cause your problem also.

not sure a how easy the transmission access is on a Ferrari 400, but the GM turbo 400 transmission is well known and should be easy to troubleshoot. Any good transmission shop should be able to check it out.

Maybe the only good thing about a problem with the trans in any Ferrari... This one should be easily fixed by any competent trans mechanic in the USA! What is the outcome? Moving yet? I am looking for a 400/412 any suggestions?

SUCK! If there is a plain old trans shop in town that can be trusted not to screw the car up they should be able to at least easily handle the trans work. Keep us all posted...

Trans is very easy to fix, and relatively cheap.
